The Fernwell Building is listed on The Spokane City/County Historic Preservation Office's List of Historic Places and continues to be one of Spokane’s most beloved icons of days gone by.  The local management and ownership is committed to ensuring all Building Tenants have access to not only the latest in technology, but are able to enjoy the classic beauty of their office in a well maintained historical gem.
Rollin Charles Hyde, brother of Eugene Hyde who built the Hyde Block, built this building in the aftermath of the Spokane fire of 1889. Originally known as the Chamber of Commerce Building, the structure became known as the Fernwell in 1893 and has continued under that name.
Built in 1891, the Fernwell Building is a beautiful 6-story brick commercial building with a Romanesque theme.  Though substantially updated over the past century, the Fernwell retains it old world charm.
